The leaves of Camellia japonica Kerguelen are dark green with white-creme variegation. Kerguelen was found as a sport in the wellknown Nuccio's Cameo. Kerguelen is winterhardy till - 15 degrees Celcius. The flowers are deep pink. It is a compact Camellia. Kerguellen likes shady places. Prune back in may for the best regrowth.

Kerguelen was awarded with a bronze medal during the Plantarium in 2009.
