The cold wind blows the grasses back and forth. What do we see now? A purple wind, surely not? Still though, it's Panicum Purple Breeze. Because of the beautiful dark purple flames on the leaves, it seems like the wind colours purple! Purple Breeze is hardy to -30° Celsius and is low maintenance. The plant likes a spot in the sun, in a fertile, moist and well drained soil. Ideal as solitary on terrace or patio, a hedge of grasses, for mass planting or border.
