Description

Clematis Tumaini is a new variety from the Raymond Evison Clematis breeding programme. Tumaini is a multi-flowering plant with large, violet flowers between 10 and 12 cm in diameter, boasting a dark pink bar that complements their beauty. The flower's centre features deep red-tipped anthers.

The first wave of flowers starts blooming in late April and continues to increase in quantity throughout May and June. A smaller second wave of flowers will appear in September. The abundant flower production and the compact habit, make Clematis Tumaini an excellent choice for growing in pots or small spaces in gardens of any size.

How to care for Clematis Tumaini:
Tumaini grows up to 90-120 cm high each season. This Clematis in the Raymond Evison range represents a new generation. It flowers effortlessly and rewards gardeners with magnificent results using relatively straightforward pruning techniques. As we approach late winter or early spring, you only need to trim back the stems to 15 cm above ground level. Clematis Tumaini is hardy to -15 ºC.
