Description

Trachelospermum Star of Milano has dark green with creamy white variegated, glossy foliage. Star of Milano flowers abundantly with pink, fragrant flowers. It has a long flowering period: from May through September. Star of Milano is a trouble free climber that will reach a height of about 3m and a width of about 2m. Pruning is not necessary, but if desired Star of Milano can be pruned in early spring. Plant Star of Milano in a well-drained, fertile soil. This beauty tolerates full sun as well as semi-shade but it prefers the sun! It is also drought-tolerant so it doesn’t need a lot of water. Star of Milano is an evergreen that can be perfectly used in containers with trellis, for green walls and even as a ground cover. Hardy to -12 ºC.
